Description
-These chisels are made by a highly respected Narex tool manufacturer in the Czech Republic and are of exceptional quality.-The blades are made of fine-grain chrome-manganese steel, very well tempered and hardened to Rc 59.-Blades take and hold an excellent edge. Blades are precision ground and have a thinner cross section preferred by woodworkers.-As with all edge tools these will need a final sharpening before use.-These chisels are an excellent value in a good quality tool.-This is a 6 piece set containing the following sizes:
-6mm (1/4)-10mm (3/8)-12mm (1/2)-16mm (5/8) -20mm (13/16) -26mm (1 1 /32).-They are ground on a 25 degree bevel.-Leaves measure 4 3/4 inches to 5 1/2 inches long.-The handles are in European beech stained black and lacquered and are 5 1/2” long.-Overall sizes range in length from 10 1/ inch to 11 inches.-Blades have well-seated heavy steel tangs and handles have 2 ferrules to withstand vigorous mallet work.-They come in a wooden presentation box.
