Kuretake: The Kuretake brand represents the arts and crafts lifestyle with the use of colors and shapes.-The colors 'Black' represent Tradition and 'Yellow and Purple' represent Innovation of brushes, pens and paints to support the artistic lifestyle of our customers.-The circle, square and triangle shapes represent the creation of arts and crafts.-ZIG: 'ZIG' is the brand name of Kuretake's pen and marker that has been used and loved by many people.-In the 1970s, Japan experienced a national depression during the post-war recession.-People all over the world were looking for high quality and low price stationery productions, and in this era came the birth of the new 'Kuretake ZIG' fine line pen.-ZIG comes from the word 'zigzag', a concept based on the fluid back and forth motion that comes with writing.'Kuretake ZIG' had a 0.3mm extra fine tip as well as a slim body design with a high quality cap and stainless steel clip that was very original for the time.- On top of that, 'Kuretake ZIG' became Kuretake's first successful stationery product to spread worldwide.-From the original product name of 'Kuretake ZIG', we decided to establish 'ZIG' as the general brand of Kuretake pens and markers.
