Pedag suede Brush #801
Pedag Suede Brush: Suede is made from the underside of the hide, which is then brushed to form a soft, plush outer layer. Many shoes, boots, coats, handbags, and upholstered furniture is made of suede because of the lovely look and feel. However, due to the open pores and texture, suede can become dirty and absorb moisture easily. Use the brass bristles on Pedag Suede Brush to remove surface dirt, dried mud, etc. Use the rubber “fan” on the side of the brush to reach into tight seams and welts. At this point, remove oily marks with a Suede Dry Cleaning eraser and apply a suede/nubuck Color Restorer if you desire. Then use the rubber bristle side of the brush to restore the nap. Brush the nap with the grain for a flat, softer look, or against the grain to create a brighter look. Pedag Nubuck Brush: Nubuck is one of the most expensive and beautiful types of leather. When you sand the outer layer of a hide until it is velvety soft with a visible nap you get nubuck. Pedag’s Nubuck Brush is the right tool for caring for nubuck. The brush is made of high quality crepe with enough grip to restore the nap to its original beauty. Use the nylon bristles to remove surface dirt and get into tight places on your shoe, garment or furniture and remove lodged in dirt. Crepe also produces a dry cleaning, eraser effect, which helps remove marks and stains without removing color. Use the nylon side again to restore the nap. Brush the nap with the grain for a flat, softer look, or against the grain to create a brighter look. Both brushes are made in Germany.
